  9. HELPFUL SUGGESTION: Compact your Focal Point II stacks frequently, and backup your Focal Point II stacks before transferring data from the Wizard to Focal Point II.

  12. The Focal Point interface to the Sharp Wizard is a self-installing Hypercard stack.  Click on the FP2ÑWizard stack icon on this disk and follow the instructions - hardware requirements and operating instructions are documented within the stack.

The Focal Point interface to the Sharp Wizard requires the use of Hypercard 1.2.2 (with System 6.0.2 or 6.0.3) or HyperCard 1.2.5 (with System 6.0.4) and Focal Point II version 1.01 for proper operation.  Operation with older versions of Focal Point or Hypercard may cause unexpected results.  You must contact your Apple dealer for an upgrade to Hypercard.  An upgrade from Focal Point II version 1.0 to Focal Point II version 1.01 is available for $10.00. (California residents must add 6.25% tax and Texas residents must add 7.5% tax.)  You may order by calling 800/227-6900 (Request item #RM-97717) or by writing to the following address:

  29. FPII DIRECTORY TRANSFER TO WIZARD:
  30. Ñ Transfers to the Wizard completely overwrite existing data in the designated Wizard's Telephone Directory.  If you wish to preserve the data from the Wizard's Telephone Directory module, you may do one of the following: 1) Save any entries into one of the other two Wizard Telephone directory modules using the Wizard's copy and paste features. -OR- 2) Transfer the Telephone Directory module that is going to be erased into Focal Point II's Directory module first, and then transfer Focal Point II's Directory module into the chosen Telephone Directory module in the Wizard.

  35. WIZARD TELEPHONE TRANSFER TO FPII:
  36. ÑData being transferred will be written to the correct field, however, the data in each of the respective fields may have different line spacing.

  39. FPII DAILY TRANSFER TO WIZARD:
  40. ÑOnly data from the next whole hour on is transferred to the Wizard.   Example 1:  If the time is now 1:00 p.m., then appointments starting at 2:00 p.m. will be transferred.  Example 2:  If the time is now 1:30 p.m., then appointments starting at 2:00 p.m. will be transferred.

  43. WIZARD TO DO MODULE:
  44. ÑWizard's Time Expense Manager IC card has a ToDo module which differs significantly from the ToDo module in Focal Point II.  There is no link between Wizard's ToDo module and Focal Point II.  Data from Wizard's Memo module may be transferred to Focal Point II's ToDo module.  Data from Focal Point II's ToDo module may be transferred to the Wizard's Memo module.
